The problem

The CREATURE album had a world behind it that music alone could not show. The task was to turn that world into something people could hold, hang on a wall and live with for a year — twelve distinct scenes that still read as one series.

What I made

A 12-month calendar series featuring different creatures and abandoned recording studios overtaken by Pacific Northwest wilderness. Each month tells a story of coexistence between wildlife and human creativity, moving through the seasons from winter studio to winter's return.

A physical product extending the CREATURE universe beyond the record, sold through Etsy, with its own page on this site.
